Delete your account

You can permanently delete your AutoBid GY account and personal data at any time. There are two ways:

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

Open the AutoBid GY app and sign in.

Tap Profile in the bottom navigation.

Scroll to Account → tap Delete account.

You'll be asked to confirm. Once you confirm, the deletion runs immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app (lost device, can't sign in, etc.), email us from the address registered on your account:

Email support@autobidguyana.com

We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email once it's done.

What gets deleted

Deleted within 30 days Retained (and why)
  • Your profile (name, email, phone, photo)
  • Dealership info (name, address, logo, banner, coordinates)
  • All vehicle listings you posted
  • All photos you uploaded
  • Messages you sent + any image or document attachments in chat
  • Bids and saved vehicles
  • Push notification tokens (both legacy and private store)
  • Authentication credentials
  • Anonymised, aggregate analytics (no personal identifiers)
  • Transaction and payment records — retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting laws in Guyana
  • Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. fraud investigations)
This cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your listings disappear from the marketplace immediately and your data cannot be recovered. Buyers who messaged you will no longer be able to reach you.
